The IBM Qiskit Fall Fest 2025 at IISER Kolkata concluded with an incredible success, transitioning from technical workshops to deep industry insights. While the first three days focused on building the "Quantum Toolkit," our finale session bridged the gap between academic theory and real-world application.
The Grand Finale: Error Mitigation & Careers
We were honored to host Dr. Ritajit Majumdar, a Research Scientist at IBM Quantum. Dr. Majumdar delivered a keynote on one of the most pressing challenges in the field: Error Mitigation.
Bridging Industry and Academia
The floor opened for a Special Panel Discussion featuring Dr. Majumdar alongside faculty from the Department of Physical Sciences (DPS) and the Department of Chemical Sciences (CDS).
