Join us for a collaborative Color Grading Workshop brought to you by Movie Club × Pixel Club × Slashdot. This session brings together filmmaking, visual storytelling, and Slashdot's core design expertise—highlighting that our role extends far beyond technical support into the most important design aspects of visual creation!

Workshop Flow & Schedule

  • 15:00 – 17:00: Color Theory – Covering how colors work, how they affect mood, and how to use them for visual storytelling.
  • 17:00 – 17:30: Small tea break & photo session to help you recharge and network with fellow creatives.
  • 17:30 – 18:00: DaVinci Resolve Basics – Introduction to the Color page and practical, real-world techniques.
  • 18:00 Onwards: Practical Practice Session – Hands-on color grading using provided log footages so you can apply what you learn in real-time.

What to Bring & Prerequisites

To make the session truly interactive, please ensure you have the following before arriving:

  • Hardware: Your laptop (16GB RAM or more is recommended for smoother performance, but less is completely fine), a mouse, a pendrive, and an extension cord (optional).
  • Software: Please install DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro in advance. (If you cannot install DaVinci Resolve prior, we will provide the software via pendrives at the venue).
  • Assets: Download all the practice log footages from the provided Google Drive resource link before coming.
