The Slashdot Programming and Design Club is excited to present a special session on Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) Simulations — a cornerstone technique in statistical physics, Bayesian inference, and computational research.

This talk will be delivered by Shibashis Mukhopadhyay, a 5th-year BS-MS student from the Department of Physical Sciences, IISER Kolkata. He will walk us through the theory behind MCMC methods, explain how to perform such simulations using Python, and share how he applied these techniques in his own research work.
